Shaq retired via twitter yesterday, which put an end on a great career. I ment to post this yesterday but I was just too lazy. This is what I will remember him the most outside of basketball. (Kazaam and Steel don’t exist in my brain.) Shaq will go down as the greatest rapper that was a basketball player, which ain’t saying much. (He did go platinum though and that Fu-Schnickens joint was tight).
Anyway, this video is for his song “You Can’t Stop The Reign”. Not only does he not suck but the song originally had the Notorious B.I.G. on the track. (Jay-Z even lifted a couple of lines from Biggie’s verse on this song.)
