The Vancouver Fan Riots Proves LeBron Was Right

16 Jun

“All the people that were rooting for me to fail, at the end of the day, tomorrow they have to wake up and have the same life that (they had) before they woke up today. They got the same personal problems they had today. And I’m going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things I want to do.” – LeBron James

Those were LeBron’s words after the Miami Heat lost Game 6 to the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals. Did we see the Heat fans rioting in the streets, nope. The most we saw out of them was the fans throwing stuff at Charles Barkley during the playoffs.

However when the Vancouver Canucks lose to the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals, all hell breaks loose. Why is that? Cause fans take sports too seriously. Fans rioting just because a team loses makes you wonder: What else do these fans have in their lives other than cheering for a team? People got problems.
